Ilsfeld is a municipality located in the district of Heilbronn within the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Situated on the outer edge of the Stuttgart Metropolitan Region, the municipality comprises the village of Ilsfeld proper along with several hamlets and the formerly independent settlements of Auenstein and Schozach.
Historically a predominantly agricultural area, Ilsfeld transitioned toward a more commercial orientation following the construction of an autobahn exit in the 1950s. The village center was largely destroyed by a fire in 1904 and subsequently rebuilt using a rustic Württemberg style that incorporates Jugendstil elements.
