Hockenheim is a town located in the northwest region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated in the Upper Rhine valley, approximately 20 km south of Mannheim and 10 km west of Walldorf.
The town is positioned along two notable tourist theme routes: the Bertha Benz Memorial Route and the Baden Asparagus Route. It is most widely recognized for the Hockenheimring, a motor racing circuit that has hosted more than 30 Formula One German Grand Prix races since 1970.
