Heiligkreuzsteinach is a town located in the district of Rhein-Neckar within the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is situated approximately 25 km northeast of Heidelberg.
The administrative history of the town includes its inclusion as part of the Electoral Palatinate starting in 1525. Following the dissolution of the Electoral Palatinate in 1803, Heiligkreuzsteinach became part of Baden. In 1952, following the union of Baden and Württemberg, it became part of the newly established state of Baden-Württemberg.
