Ertingen is a municipality located in the district of Biberach within the region of Upper Swabia in South Württemberg, Germany. The area is characterized by its historical roots, with each component community possessing a long history.
Following a municipal reform in 1975, the current municipality was formed by the merger of Ertingen and two smaller formerly independent communities: Erisdorf and Binzwangen.
