Calw is a town located in the state of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It serves as the capital and largest town of the district Calw, holding the administrative status of a große Kreisstadt.
Situated in the Northern Black Forest region, the town is positioned approximately 18 km (11 mi) south of Pforzheim and 33 km (21 mi) west of Stuttgart.
