Bodman-Ludwigshafen is a municipality located in the district of Konstanz within the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated on the western shore of Lake Überlingen, which constitutes the north-western portion of the Upper Lake of Lake Constance.
The municipality is composed of two distinct villages, Bodman and Ludwigshafen, positioned on opposite sides of Lake Überlingen. These two former municipalities united in 1975 to form the current administrative entity. Notably, the German name for Lake Constance, Bodensee, is derived from the name Bodman.
