Baden-Baden is a spa town located in the state of Baden-Württemberg in south-western Germany. It is situated on the small river Oos at the north-western border of the Black Forest mountain range.
The city is positioned ten kilometres east of the Rhine, which serves as the France–Germany border, and approximately forty kilometres north-east of Strasbourg, France.
