Achern is a city located in the western region of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is situated approximately 18 km southwest of Baden-Baden and 19 km northeast of Offenburg.
The city serves as the fourth largest town within the district of Ortenau (Ortenaukreis), following Offenburg, Lahr / Black Forest, and Kehl.
