Abtsgmund

Abtsgmünd is a municipality located in the German state of Baden-Württemberg within the Ostalbkreis district. It is situated at the confluence of two streams, the Lein and the Kocher.

The large area municipality comprises the main town of Abtsgmünd along with five districts: Neubronn, Laubach, Untergröningen, Hohenstadt, and Pommertsweiler, including their associated villages and hamlets. The area is designated as a state-recognized recreation area within the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park.
