Bohumín is a town located in the Karviná District of the Moravian-Silesian Region in the Czech Republic. It has a population of approximately 20,000 inhabitants and is situated in the Ostrava Basin at the confluence of the Oder and Olza rivers, positioned on the border with Poland.

The town serves as one of the most significant railway junctions within the Czech Republic. Notable architectural monuments in the area include the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary and the Church of the Sacred Heart.
