Jablonec nad Nisou is a city situated in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It serves as the second-largest city within the region and forms part of a conurbation with its neighbor, Liberec.
The city is located in a basin surrounded by the Jizera Mountains along the Lusatian Neisse River. It has a population of approximately 46,000 inhabitants.
