Židenice is a municipal part and cadastral territory located in the city of Brno, Czech Republic. It covers an area of 6.47 km2 and is situated almost entirely on the left bank of the Svitava river. Originally an independent municipality, it was annexed to Brno in 1919.
Since November 24, 1990, Židenice has constituted most of the city district of Brno-Židenice and the entirety of Brno-Vinohrady on its eastern side. With a population of approximately 33,000 people, it is currently the most populated cadastral territory within the city of Brno.
