Košíře is a district located in Prague, Czechia. It forms part of the municipal area known as Prague 5 and is situated within the valley of the Motol brook, positioned between the districts of Smíchov and Motol.
The area became an independent town in 1896 before being officially joined with the city of Prague in 1921.
