Xylotymbou is a small town located in the Larnaca District in south-eastern Cyprus. It functions as one of the four enclaves surrounded by the Eastern Sovereign Base Area of Akrotiri and Dhekelia, which is a British Overseas Territory administered as a Sovereign Base Area.
The town is administered by the Republic of Cyprus, the internationally recognized government of the island. The other three entities within this enclave structure include the village of Ormidhia and two separate parts of the Dhekelia Power Station.
