Tsada is a relatively large village located in Cyprus, situated approximately 8 km north of the city center of Paphos. Despite its proximity to the city, the area is distinguished by a significant elevation difference of 600 meters, which provides it with a distinct identity from the surrounding lowlands.
The region features a notably cooler climate throughout the year and receives an annual precipitation of 610 millimetres. It is one of the few locations within the Paphos District that experiences snowfall almost every year by the end of January. Historically, Tsada served as the home village of EOKA member Evagoras Pallikarides.
While the history of the village dates back approximately 500 years, it lacks a significant architectural character, with only a few residences reconstructed in the traditional style. The nearby Melisovouno hill, located between Tsada and Koili village, hosts antennas for Paphos television and radio.
