Trachoni is a village and municipal district located in the Limassol District of Cyprus. Its name originates from Ancient Greek, where it translates to "rugged" or "stony ground." Geographically, the area is situated west of the city of Limassol and lies near the Akrotiri Peninsula.
Historically, Trachoni functioned as a separate community until July 1, 2024. Following a local government reform, it was officially incorporated into the Kourion Municipality.
