Philousa Khrysokhous

Philousa Chrysochous is a village located in the Paphos District of Cyprus. It is situated at an elevation of 427 metres (1,401 ft) above sea level, approximately 12 km southeast of Polis Chrysochous.

The settlement is characterized by its rural landscape, featuring a green hillside populated with carob, olive, and fruit trees. It is located next to Lake Evretos and overlooks the surrounding area from an elevated position. The village is situated near several other communities, including Simou, Zacharia, Sarama Village, and the abandoned villages of Evretou and Trimithousa.

Historically, Philousa Village served as a central point for five surrounding Turkish Cypriot villages in the region.
