Pera Chorio is a large village located in Cyprus, situated near the town of Dali. The settlement is separated from the neighboring village of Nisou by the River Gualias, which is recognized as the second largest river in Cyprus.
The village has a population of approximately 2,200 people, a significant portion of whom are refugees who relocated to the area following the Turkish invasion of 1974. The local economy and demographics are primarily characterized by middle-aged farmers and cattle-breeders. Infrastructure within the village includes various shops, supermarkets, kiosks, bakeries, and communication buildings.
The climate in Pera Chorio varies significantly between seasons. During the winter months, temperatures typically range from 10 °C to 25 °C, while summer temperatures frequently reach 35 °C and above.
