Pano Deftera is a village located in Cyprus, situated approximately 11 km south-west of the capital city, Nicosia.
The village is notably recognized as the ancestral home of the Eramian family, a prominent Armenian-Cypriot lineage that arrived in Cyprus in 1768. The descendants of this family are currently dispersed globally, and their history is documented in the book "The Agha's Children" by Joy Kouyoumdjian.
