Palodeia

Palodeia is a village situated in the Limassol District of Cyprus. It is geographically positioned approximately 2 km south of Paramytha and 7 km north of the center of Limassol.

While the original village is small, Palodeia encompasses much of the surrounding land, which has undergone gradual suburbanization. This development resulted in significant population growth during the early 21st century, with the population nearly doubling from 730 in 2001 to 1,568 in 2011.

Notable local features include two churches and a nursing home for veterans of EOKA known as the Melathron.
