Moniatis is a village located in the Limassol District of Cyprus. It is situated approximately 5 km southeast of Pano Platres.
Historically, Moniatis was a mixed village inhabited by both Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots. The origin of the name "Moniatis" may be derived from the presence of monasteries, referred to as "mones," in the surrounding area.
