Curacao

Vianen is a city located in the central Netherlands within the province of Utrecht. Situated south of the Lek river, it was formerly part of the province of South Holland until 2002. On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Vianen merged with the municipalities of Leerdam and Zederik to form the new municipality of Vijfheerenlanden.

The city features a historic town center dating back to the medieval period, which was originally surrounded by a moat and defensive wall. In addition to its historic core, Vianen includes an industrial and commercial area as well as extensive modern housing developments located to the east, south, and southwest. The city is intersected by two major motorways providing access to Utrecht: the A2, connecting Amsterdam and Maastricht, and the A27, connecting Breda and Almere.
