Punda

Curacao

Punda is one of the four quarters that make up the historic center of Willemstad, the capital and largest city of Curaçao. Located on an island in the southern Caribbean Sea, Curaçao is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Punda is situated on one side of the Sint Anna Bay, which separates it from the Otrobanda quarter.

The area is part of a city center characterized by unique architecture and a prominent harbor entry. Due to these features, the historic center of Willemstad has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city as a whole serves as the primary population hub for the island, housing approximately 90% of its residents.
