Salamansa is a village located in the northeastern region of the island of Sao Vicente in Cape Verde. It is situated on the north coast, positioned approximately 5 km northeast of the city center of Mindelo.
The settlement serves as a fishing village and is characterized by its long sandy beach. As of 2010, the population of Salamansa was recorded at 1,179 residents.
