Ribeira da Barca is a town located in the municipality of Santa Catarina on the island of Santiago, Cape Verde. It is situated on the west coast of the island at the mouth of the stream Ribeira da Barca, approximately 11 km northwest of Assomada.
The settlement was historically documented as "Rivera das Baras" on a map produced by Jacques-Nicolas Bellin in 1747. As of the 2010 census, the town had a population of 2,317 residents.
