Praia Branca is a town located in the northwestern region of the island of São Nicolau in Cape Verde. It falls under the jurisdiction of the municipality of Tarrafal de São Nicolau.
The settlement is situated approximately 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) from the coast and lies about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of Ribeira Brava. According to the 2010 census, the population of Praia Branca was 521.
