João Galego is a village located in the northeastern region of the island of Boa Vista in Cape Verde. It serves as a small residential settlement situated within the island's rural landscape.
The village is positioned approximately 2 km northwest of Fundo das Figueiras and lies about 19 km east of Sal Rei, which is the capital of the island. According to the 2010 census, João Galego had a population of 346 residents.
