Achada Monte

Achada Monte is a town located in the northern region of the island of Santiago in Cape Verde. It falls under the jurisdiction of the municipality of São Miguel and is situated near the eastern coast, approximately 8 km northwest of Calheta de São Miguel.

The settlement lies along the EN1-ST02 road, which connects Praia and Tarrafal via Pedra Badejo. Notable geographical features in the vicinity include the Ribeira Principal, which flows to the west of the village, and the small bay of Mangue de Sete Ribeiras located to the east. As of 2010, the town had a population of 1,652 residents.
