Artemisa is a municipality and city located in Cuba. It serves as the capital city of Artemisa Province, a designation established by a law approved by the Cuban National Assembly in August 2010. The province was formed from eight municipalities of the former La Habana Province and three from Pinar del Río.
The city covers an area of 642.0 square kilometers. As of 2022, Artemisa has a population exceeding 86,444 inhabitants.
