Jesús Menéndez, also known by its nickname Chaparra, is a municipality and town located in the Las Tunas Province of Cuba. The locality serves as a regional administrative center within the province.
The town was named in honor of Jesús Menéndez Larrondo, a Cuban trade unionist. It remains a recognized geographical and political division within the Cuban interior.
