Cauto Cristo is a municipality and town situated in the western region of the Granma Province in Cuba. It serves as a local administrative center within the provincial territory.
The town is geographically defined by its location on the banks of the Río Cauto. It shares borders with the neighboring provinces of Holguín to the north and Las Tunas to the east.
