Buey Arriba is a mountainous municipality and town situated in the Granma Province of Cuba. It is geographically positioned in the northern section of the Sierra Maestra mountain range.
The town is located approximately 30 kilometres (19 miles) south of Bayamo, which serves as the provincial capital. The area is characterized by its rugged, mountainous terrain within the Sierra Maestra region.
