Jagüey Grande, commonly referred to as Jagüey, is a town and municipality situated in the Matanzas Province of Cuba. It is located in the central part of the province, positioned east of the Zapata Peninsula and north of the Bahia de Cochinos.
The municipality lies along the A1 motorway, which serves as a primary transportation route in the region. It functions as a local administrative and residential center within the Matanzas interior.
