Viracachá is a town and municipality located in the Márquez Province of the Boyacá department in Colombia. It is situated on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense at an elevation of 2,520 metres (8,270 ft) above sea level, with other areas of the municipality reaching heights of up to 3,200 metres (10,500 ft).
The town is located approximately 22 kilometres (14 mi) from the department capital, Tunja. It shares borders with Siachoque, Rondón, and Soracá to the north and east, while bordering Ciénega, Soracá, and Ramiriquí to the south and west.
