Turmequé is a town and municipality located in the Department of Boyacá within Colombia. It is situated in the Márquez Province subregion, approximately 105 kilometres (65 miles) northeast of the capital city, Bogotá.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas: Ventaquemada to the west, Úmbita to the east, and Nuevo Colón to the north. To the south, it borders the municipality of Villapinzón in the department of Cundinamarca.
