Tinjacá is a town and municipality located in the Boyacá Department of Colombia. It is situated within the Ricaurte Province subregion on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense plateau.
The municipality is positioned approximately 54 kilometres (34 mi) from Tunja, the capital of the department. It shares borders with Sutamarchán to the north, Ráquira to the south, Sáchica to the east, and Chiquinquirá and Saboyá to the west.
