Tibaná is a town and municipality located in the Department of Boyacá in Colombia. It is situated within the Márquez Province subregion on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, reaching an altitude of 2,115 metres (6,939 ft). The urban center of the municipality lies approximately 38 kilometres (24 mi) from Tunja, which serves as the department capital.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas: Jenesano to the north, Ramiriquí and Chinavita to the east, Chinavita and Úmbita to the south, and Turmequé and Nuevo Colón to the west.
