San Miguel de Sema is a municipality and town located in the Boyacá Department of Colombia. It is situated within the subregion of the Western Boyacá Province and serves as one of the 123 municipalities that comprise the department.
The urban center of San Miguel de Sema sits at an altitude of 2,615 metres (8,579 ft) in the western portion of the department. It shares borders with the municipalities of Chiquinquirá, Simijaca, and Ráquira within Boyacá, as well as Tinjacá and Fúquene in the neighboring department of Cundinamarca.
