Ráquira is a municipality and town located in the Boyacá Department of Colombia. It is situated within the Ricaurte Province subregion on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, with its urban center reaching an altitude of 2,150 metres (7,050 ft).
The town shares borders with several neighboring areas: Tinjacá and Sutamarchán to the north, Guachetá in Cundinamarca to the south, Sáchica and Samacá to the east, and San Miguel de Sema and Lake Fúquene to the west.
