Oicatá is a town and municipality located in the Central Boyacá Province within the Department of Boyacá, Colombia. The urban center is situated on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense at an elevation of 2,815 metres (9,236 ft).
The municipality is positioned approximately 153 kilometres (95 mi) from Bogotá and 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) from the department capital, Tunja. It shares borders with Cómbita and Tuta to the north, Chivatá and Tunja to the south, Chivatá to the east, and Cómbita and Tunja to the west.
