Nuevo Colón is a town and municipality located in the Department of Boyacá, Colombia. It is situated within the Márquez Province subregion on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense plateau. The urban center of the municipality sits at an altitude of 2,500 metres (8,200 ft) and is positioned approximately 34 kilometres (21 mi) from Tunja, which serves as the departmental capital.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas. To the north, it borders Boyacá, Ventaquemada, and Jenesano; to the south, it borders Tibaná and Turmequé. Its eastern boundary is shared with Tibaná, while its western border is formed by Turmequé and Ventaquemada.
