La Uvita is a town and municipality located in the Northern Boyacá Province within the Colombian Department of Boyacá. The urban center of the municipality is situated at an altitude of 2,700 metres (8,900 ft) in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.
The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas: San Mateo to the north, El Cocuy and Chita to the east, Chita and Jericó to the south, and Boavita to the west.
