La Capilla is a town and municipality located in the Eastern Boyacá Province within the Colombian department of Boyacá. It serves as a local administrative center situated in the rural highlands of the country.
The urban center of La Capilla is positioned at an altitude of 1,600 metres (5,200 ft). It is geographically located within the Tenza Valley region.
