Garagoa is a town and municipality located in the Boyacá Department of Colombia. Situated in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes, it serves as the capital of the province of Neira and functions as the seat of the Diocese of Garagoa of the Catholic Church.
The municipality covers an area of 191.75 km2, with its urban center positioned at an altitude of 1,650 metres (5,410 ft) above sea level. While the town center sits at this elevation, other parts of the municipality reach altitudes as high as 3,050 metres (10,010 ft). It shares borders with Chinavita to the north and east, Macanal to the south, and Tenza, Sutatenza, and Miraflores to the west and east.
