Covarachía is a town and municipality located in the Northern Boyacá Province within the Colombian Department of Boyacá. The urban center of the municipality is situated at an altitude of 2,320 metres (7,610 ft) in the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes.
The town is positioned approximately 208 kilometres (129 mi) from Tunja, the capital of the department. It shares borders with the municipalities of San José de Miranda and Capitanejo to the north, Tipacoque to the south, Capitanejo to the east, and Onzaga and San Joaquín (Santander) to the west.
