Magangué is a city and municipality located in the Department of Bolivar in Colombia. Situated along the Magdalena River, it is positioned approximately 20 km north of the mouth of the Cauca River. It serves as the second largest city within its department.
The city is characterized by its strategic location, which provides significant national potential for development. Historically, Magangué was home to the largest port in the country. Current projections indicate that the municipality has a population exceeding 141,000 inhabitants.
