Tenjo is a municipality and town located in the Central Savanna Province of Colombia. It is situated within the department of Cundinamarca and serves as part of the Metropolitan Area of Bogotá.
The urban center of Tenjo sits at an altitude of 2,587 metres (8,488 ft) on the Bogotá savanna. The municipality shares borders with several neighboring areas, including Chía, Madrid, Tabio, Funza, Subachoque, and Cota.
