Sutatausa is a municipality and town located in Colombia within the department of Cundinamarca. It is situated specifically in the Ubaté Province on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense region.
The municipality is positioned approximately 88 kilometres (55 mi) from Bogotá, the capital city. It shares borders with Ubaté to the north, Tausa to the south, Cucunubá to the east, and both Carmen de Carupa and Tausa to the west.
