Simijaca is a town and municipality located in the Ubaté Province of the Cundinamarca Department in Colombia. The town center is situated at an altitude of 2,559 metres (8,396 ft) on the Altiplano Cundiboyacense, approximately 136 kilometres (85 mi) from the capital city of Bogotá.
The municipality shares borders with several other regions. It is bordered by the Boyacá municipalities of Chiquinquirá and Caldas to the north, Susa and Carmen de Carupa to the south, Caldas to the west, and San Miguel de Sema to the east.
