Chipaque is a municipality and town located in the Eastern Province of the department of Cundinamarca, Colombia. Situated at an altitude of 2,400 metres (7,900 ft) within the Eastern Ranges of the Colombian Andes, the municipality covers an area of 139.45 square kilometres (53.84 sq mi).
The town is positioned approximately 27 kilometres (17 mi) east of Bogotá, with its westernmost section located in the Eastern Hills of the capital city. It shares borders with the locality of Usme to the west, Cáqueza to the east, Une to the south, and Ubaque to the north. The region maintains an average temperature of 13 °C (55 °F).
